How does the AI know anything about my firm?

The audit is based on the information you give us plus patterns we’ve seen across Australian law firms. It’s not scraping your systems or looking at your matter data. It’s pattern-matching your situation against known automation opportunities for firms with your software, size and practice areas.

Will you touch privileged client material?

No. The audit is based only on the high-level information you submit about your firm — software, firm size, weekly admin hours, biggest pain. We never see your matters, files or client data. Client legal privilege and confidentiality stay intact end-to-end. If you later engage us for an actual build, that’s a separate conversation with proper data handling agreements (and we offer self-hosted and AU-region cloud options for sensitive matter work).

What happens to the information I submit?

It’s used to generate your audit and stored in our system for 90 days so we can improve audit quality. After 90 days it’s deleted unless you become a client. Never sold, never shared. Full details in our Privacy Policy and AI & Data Processing Supplement.

Will AI replace my lawyers?

In our experience: no, but it changes what they spend their time on. Fee earners in firms that adopt AI typically move from intake admin, document chase and first-pass drafting toward advisory, complex matter work and client-facing time — the higher-value, higher-billable parts of the job. The audit identifies which tasks can shift, which can’t, and which shouldn’t.

Does this work with Actionstep/Smokeball/FilePro/Lexis Affinity as well as LEAP?

Yes. Tell us your practice management software in the form and the audit factors that in. Most automation opportunities work across all major AU legal platforms; some are platform-specific (e.g., LEAP-specific document automation workflows) — your audit will note when that applies.
